We know for the past two weeks or so, we have been telling you that we are doing this t-shirt fundraiser with Abilis. Currently, we have to put that on hold while we work out more details with Abilis.

We have two words for you guys...
Feminism and STEM

Against common belief, feminism is actually defined as "the doctrine advocating social, political, and all other rights of women equal to those of men." (Dictionary.com). Meaning that they want ALL genders to be equal not one to prevail over the other.

STEM is broken down into four different sections. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Here's how we incorporated STEM into these week's session:

Science:
- We are using our own uniqueness AKA our DNA in the service of others! These include The Women in Science Conference, the founder of The Conference (our aunt) Laurie Goodman, and our fans who want new t-shirt designs.

Technology:
- We put together a new AJ inc. logo on Photoshop! We had to reposition the pixels to create the image that we want.

Engineering:
- This is a combination of creativity, logic, and organization. To explain more about how we incorporated engineering into this weeks session, I'm going to hand it over to my sister Jackie: "Angie
is the creativity specialist for this project, for example she created a design for a new t-shirt and a new cause. I, Jackie, am the logic wizard, by repositioning the logo to make it have more depth and be more pleasing to the eye.  Phil is the organizational leader by categorizing each task and making a plan.

Mathematics:
- We basically have to solve an algebra problem... We have to see how many t-shirts, for what price, do we need  to sell in order to raise the amount of funds needed ($2,500). Costs of blank t-shirts, printing expense, shipping cost, etc.

We want to help raise these funds for The Women in Science Conference because it is not only personal to us because it was created by our aunt, but it will help women like Jackie and I who are STEMinists.
