For a long time we have been talking about The Woman In Science Conference but we never really said what it is:
The Woman In Science Conference takes place on October 24th in Shenzhen, China. There are also female speakers to inspire young women in science.

This conference almost lost funding but due to our efforts, BGI saw our blog posts and decided to fund it.

We are still selling items to raise money for the Young Women Scientist travel Award, the winner attends BGI’s conference on genomics and a $1,500 flight along with a 5-night hotel. So far we have sold $280 worth of t-shirts.

We have created flyers to put around Greenwich avenue to spread awareness of The Woman In Science Conference, we have also made business cards for the same reason, our business cards have our social media and contact information.
