Meet the Makers:
Angie for "Women in Science," and Jackie for "Abilis!"
This week, we decided to divide and conquer! Jackie is tackling the Abilis, and I'm doing the Women in Science conference.
Update on the t-shirt's for the Women in Science conference. We made a design, it was tough to put everything into photoshop after sketching, and make sure that it was "camera ready," but we think it will work well. It says "STEMinist: it's in my DNA" with a double helix below. It will be printed with chalk texture, white ink on black tees.
Update on the Abilis situation, from Jackie: "Howdy! This week, I wrote a letter to Abilis in hopes of accomplishing my goal of joining the youth board. There's cowboys and a list of three things we did to contribute to Abilis, so they know we are being serious." Jackie inked her letter by the window and see the proof below.
With both of our efforts, we want to achieve quality work: Jackie wants to help those who attend Abilis with their graphic design skills, and I want to help fund the Women in Science conference with the sale of our shirts.
