Two Techies, Making a Difference

 Today, we began by planning out which charity we were going to make our first shirt for. We decided Abilis. More specifically, we are planning to help Abilis teach their students "how to use a computer". These skills would benefit students at Abilis get jobs or even just help with their personal life.

Jackie and I are very passionate about both Abilis and the spread of knowledge of technology because it can create so many opportunities. We know from the Abilis website that specifically, they are looking for people with graphic design skills. So we thought, we could volunteer ourselves, but also we could use the money raised by the t-shirts to help hire professionals to teach classes or workshops.

Today we also sketched out what we wanted our first shirt design to be by drawing logos and finding colors to use in our design. Also... Check out our new logo ;)
